Pioneer Accounting Inc. provides a great variety of services from the point you register your business to the point of Year End and filing Tax Returns. We provide services individually or in service packages created specifically for your business requirements. Our Service Fee is determined on the Service Package you choose, not on an hourly rate basis.

BOOKKEEPING

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

We understand with your busy schedule, administrative tasks are usually the business owner's least favorite task. That's where we come in, and we can help!

All our clients are given an "Accordion File" pre-labeled and customized to their business. Everyday as paper comes across your desk, just file it in the Accordion File and put it away. Once a week/month, we will schedule a pick up by courier or in person to pick up your Accordion File with all the applicable documents and return it to our office for processing. Within a couple of days, you bookkeeping records will be complete and up-to-date. Current reports are then available to you. We are currently using QuickBooks Accounting Software for all our Bookkeeping purposes.

We will keep all your records filed and organized until your year end, when then they will be returned to you to archive once your taxes are filed.

GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCES

GST:

We will register a GST Account for you if necessary, determined what is owing or due for a refund through our records of your books and file the remittances accordingly, whether monthly, quarterly or yearly.

PST:

A PST number or "Vendor's Permit" is only required for those whose businesses is based in provide a product. If you provide solely a service, your business is not required to have a PST number. If applicable, we will register a PST Account for you and file its remittance on the 23rd of every month following the reporting period, according to our records of your books.

Payroll tax submission:

At the time of registering for your Business Number or at the point you start to hire employees, we can register a Payroll Number for your business. We will determine the amount due to be submitted through your payroll records and prepare your monthly remittance accordingly.

Import / Export:

When registering for a Business Number, if applicable, we will register an "Import / Export" number for the goods your business may export out or import into the country. Without this number your merchandise will not leave or enter the country. We will also handle the filing of the remittance required.

PAYROLL

Employee payroll:

As you hire employees, you will have to determine whether you will be paying them weekly, bi-weekly, every 15 days or monthly. This is another service you can benefit from at Pioneer Accounting Inc. Once provided with your banking information and your authorization, we will order computerized cheques for your business account through Davis & Henderson Printing Company, one of the most reliable printing companies used by banks.

Once specified the hours and rates for each of your employees, we will run your payroll and have your cheques delivered to you ready for your signature by your scheduled payday.

Record of employment (ROE):

By having performed your payroll and having all records pertaining, we can, at the necessary time, order and prepare "Record of Employment" Forms for your employees. Upon your request, these will be prepared and separated accordingly and you will be advised by our professional staff on how to handle them.

T3, T4, T5:

Due the last day of February of every year or if the business activity is discontinued, the return is due 30 days after discontinuance. You will have to provide T3, T4 and/or T5 to all your employees and Sub-Contractors in time for the filing of their Personal Tax Return. We will prepare all these for your business by getting the information required from the records in your books. We will then mail these out to your employees and Sub-Contractors along with filing a copy with their applicable Summary to CCRA.

WSIB:

If your business requires that you and your employees be registered with WSIB, we will gladly register your business with them and then proceed with filing the mandatory quarterly remittance of dues. You will be fully aware of their policy and regulations and we will assist you in all/any Forms or Claims that need to be submitted for insurance benefits.

Union:

If you and your employees are members of a particular Union, we will file and submit Union dues for you and your staff accordingly. We will make any inquiries or handle any procedures on your behalf provided it is something within our reach, in other words, we will do what we can for you. We are there every step of the way to support you and your business!

TAXATION

Corporate Tax Returns:

At Pioneer Accounting Inc., along with having all your bookkeeping and records processed, organized and filed, you now do not need to take them elsewhere for the filing of your Corporate Tax Return. We will take care of that for you along with closing your books at year end. Your "Year-End" date is normally the date of incorporation unless otherwise specified at the time of registering for a Business Number. Returns must then be filed no later then six months after year-end. You will be provided with a CT23, T2 and a Financial Statement of your business. You will be given a portfolio with a copy of each for your records completed by our CGA and one copy will be submitted accordingly from our office to the Ministry of Finance and CCRA.

 
     
 
Personal Tax Return:

At "Tax Season", any time after the New Year and before April 30th, you are required to file your Personal Tax Return. We offer great rates and do our best to get the best return possible (when applicable). Our CGA will have a list ready for you of all related documents, receipts and expenses that you will need to provide in order to fully benefit from your return. Once your return is ready to be submitted, you will be contacted by our office. You will then be asked to come in where you will have all if any particulars explained to you by our CGA or a representative. Only then, if fully satisfied you will be given a Portfolio with a copy of your T1 Return for your records. Another copy will be submitted to CCRA accordingly from our office.

REGISTRATION AND REPORTS

Business Registrations:

Whether you are thinking of registering a Sole Proprietorship, a Partnership or a Corporation, all can be handled at our office. You will not be required to find a lawyer and pay a ridiculous fee. You will be given advice, if needed, by our CGA on what type of business you should register and once determined what will work best for you and for the type of business you want to operate. All you will have to do is come up with a business name! We will perform a "Nuans Name Search" and get a report showing whether or not that name is available. Provided the name is available, you leave the rest to us and within a couple of business days your business will be ready to take off!

 
     
 
Business Performance Reporting:

Whether monthly or yearly you may get a Business Performance Report showing exactly where changes need to be made or where more effort needs to be applied. This is generally an eye-opener to any entrepreneur. At times it is possible to get consumed with one aspect of the business and therefore overlook other, very critical points. With the help and advice of any of our representatives, you will have a clear understanding of your business performance and in return you will be better prepared for making profitable and calculated decisions.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Overview:

For all those businesses that are focused on working out on the field, we realized that it becomes too demanding and almost impossible to handle the administrative side of the business. This is why we are now offering Business Administration as a Service to our clients. For those who don't have a Head Office yet established, or for those who just weren't made to work behind a desk, Pioneer Accounting Inc. is here once again to process, conduct, manage and operate that side of your business for you!

 
     
 
Invoicing:

Pioneer Accounting Inc. can produce and issue invoices to your customers as they are due. We will keep track of paid, outstanding and past due invoices and make all necessary contacts for their payments. We will advise you of any discrepancies and/or issues as they arise that cannot be resolved from our end.

 
     
 
Collections:

Pioneer Accounting Inc. will track all past due accounts and with your permission, we will take necessary measures to assure that these payments get collected. At times the last alternative will be sending these accounts to collection. In this case we will investigate and proceed with the best solution and process all paperwork required to get this accomplished.

In any business, administration is essential. Pioneer Accounting Inc. will assist you in any administration need to make your business run smoothly, be it Letters to customers, Notices to suppliers, Memos to employees, Faxes of documents, Printing and Copying of Contracts and much more...

We also offer Translation of English to Portuguese or vice versa.
